Terms of Service
Last updated: October 18, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Contextual, Inc., a Delaware corporation ("Contextual", "we", "us"), which operates tmphost.io. They govern your use of tmphost.io, including the website, MCP server, CLI and API (the "Service"). By using the Service, directly or through an AI agent acting for you, you agree to them. You are responsible for everything your agents do with the Service.
1. The Service
tmphost.io hosts static files temporarily. Every upload has an expiry time. When it expires, the files are deleted and their URL stops working. The Service is not a backup, archive or permanent hosting service. Keep your own copies.
2. Your content
You keep all rights to the files you upload. You give us a limited license to store, copy and serve them only to run the Service. Files are public to anyone with the URL. You confirm you have the right to upload and share each file.
3. Acceptable use
You must not use the Service to host or distribute:
- malware, phishing pages or credential-harvesting forms;
- content that is illegal, or that infringes someone else's copyright, trademark or privacy;
- child sexual abuse material, or content that promotes violence or harassment;
- spam, or content that impersonates a person or organization;
- other people's personal data without a lawful basis.
You must not overload, probe or attack the Service, get around its limits, or use it as a general file-sharing or CDN backend for content unrelated to temporary sharing.
4. Enforcement
We may remove any file, disable any URL or suspend any account, at any time and without notice, if we believe it breaks these terms or puts the Service or others at risk. To report abuse or a copyright infringement, email dev@tmphost.io with the URL and a description.
5. Limits and changes
We may set limits on file size, storage, expiry time and request rate, and may change or stop any part of the Service. Paid plans, if offered, will have their own terms shown at purchase.
6. No warranty
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose, availability or that files will remain available until their expiry time.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Contextual is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost data, profits or revenue. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim, or USD 50 if you paid nothing.
8. Indemnity
You will defend and compensate Contextual against claims arising from the content you or your agents upload or from your breach of these terms.
9. Termination
You can stop using the Service at any time. We may end your access under section 4. Sections 6 to 8 continue to apply after termination.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top when we do. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept it.
